Maybe you're dreading the sleep deprivation before it's even started. Maybe you're recovering from birth and simply can't keep running on empty. Maybe you feel like you should be able to manage alone, and you're not sure it's okay to ask for help.

It is. Needing rest isn't a failure, it's the reality of having a newborn, and you don't have to get through it running on empty.

Is This You?
  • You're recovering from a caesarean or a difficult birth and need real physical rest to heal

  • You're expecting (or have) twins or multiples and know the nights will be relentless

  • Your partner needs to return to work and catch up on sleep so they can support you properly

  • You're a single parent and there's no one else to share the nights with

  • You just want one or two nights of proper sleep before you fall apart

If any of that sounds like you, here's how it works.

Paige brought structure, confidence and peace to our evenings, which gave me the space to rest, heal, and feel totally supported at one of the most challenging times of my life. Paige also had a wealth of knowledge and advice to give around breastfeeding and all things post-natal.

How It Works

I offer nine hour overnight doula support (typically 9pm–6am) as standard, however there is flexibility to adjust around your family's needs. The first hour is dedicated to connecting, understanding your baby care preferences, answering questions, and making sure you feel completely supported, including helping you wind down before bed. Sometimes that's soft touch release therapy; sometimes it's making you a hot drink and a snack.

After that, you rest easy, knowing your little one is in caring, experienced hands.

Feeding, whichever way you're feeding. If you're breastfeeding, I'll bring your baby to you for feeds and support you through them, so you're not doing it alone at 3am. If you're expressing or formula feeding, I can feed your baby myself, so you get proper, uninterrupted rest. Whichever way you're feeding, this is about protecting your rest, not replacing your choices.

In hospital, too. Overnight support isn't just for home. If you've had a planned caesarean, a longer hospital stay or things simply haven't gone to plan. I can provide calm, experienced care through the night, wherever you are.

This means your partner can go home and get a proper night's sleep, so they come back the next day genuinely able to look after you, not running on empty themselves. If you've got other children at home who need someone there overnight too, this frees your partner up to be with them, while you're not left looking after your baby in hospital alone.

Plans don't always go the way you expect. If something comes up unexpectedly, whether that's an unplanned caesarean, an extended stay or anything else, get in touch. I'll always check my availability and do what I can to help.

Paige helped us establish a gentle, consistent nighttime routine, but just as importantly, she supported me as a mother healing both physically and emotionally. Paige showed deep empathy, patience, and an intuitive understanding of what I needed, not only during recovery, but as a mother

Why Me

I'm a mum of two, and I know exhaustion isn't just tiredness. It's the kind that affects how you feel, how you cope and how you bond with your baby. I trained as a breastfeeding supporter after struggling myself, so if feeding is part of what's keeping you up, that's exactly where my experience is strongest.

You're not handing your baby to a stranger. I'm DBS checked, fully insured and experienced with newborns, twins, older babies and everything in between. So you can actually switch off and rest.

Despite the difficult circumstances, Paige was consistently positive and upbeat whilst remaining professional. Somehow, she could make me smile even on the hardest days.

Common
Questions

Will I actually be able to sleep with someone else in the house? Most parents are surprised by how quickly they relax once they know their baby is genuinely being looked after. That first hour together before you go to bed is designed exactly for this, so you feel at ease before you try to sleep.

What if my baby only settles for me? That's really common in the early days. And something we can talk through on our call. Babies often settle differently for different people. And part of my role is adapting to what works for your baby specifically.

Is it safe to have someone I don't know well caring for my baby overnight? Completely understandable to want reassurance here. I'm DBS checked and fully insured. And we always meet and talk beforehand so I'm not a stranger by the time I'm caring for your baby.

Does this make me a bad parent for needing help? No. Every parent needs rest to function and to bond well with their baby. Asking for support with the hardest part of the night is practical, not a failure.
